Cassandra Zekany is the 16 year old
daughter of Adona and Tim. As with most children
of horse families, Cassandra has been riding since
she was very young.
In recent
years, Cassandra has participated in the Valley Forge Military Academy
Interscholastic Program in Wayne, PA. She also worked at Graemont Farm, a private professional dressage barn in Manheim, PA,
studying under Julie Ishler. There she learned the basics of
professional dressage riding in the company of not only top riders from
the USA but from abroad.
Her natural seat and ease with horses has been noted by
many. She
plans to continue learning all she can about horses. She
plans
to start working with her own polo prospects. Cassandra has been
participating in the Summer League at 302 Polo and her game is coming
along wonderfully.
Cassandra is taking an ever growing roll in the
operation of our farm. She helps keep our made horses going, is a
fantastic groom, works in the barn, and helps Tim and Adona work with
young horses.

Amanda
Zekany is Tim's 15 year old daughter. Although she doesn't live with us at
Big
Tree Farm full-time, she has surely caught the horse bug from us.
Amanda has shown some interest in trying her hand at arena polo and might
be joining the youth polo team with us in Aiken during her summers
here. She is a light-handed, thoughtful rider who shows great
promise in becoming a very nice horse-woman. Her focus so far has
been in jumping. She is learning the basics of equitation and
jumping on her gelding, Gemini, and is enjoying that.
When at home in Williamsport, PA, Amanda is an avid
soccer player. She joined the youth arena soccer team this
winter and is having a lot of fun with that. When with us Amanda
helps exercise the made horses, work in the barn, and groom at games.
She has proven to be an asset to our operation.
